Synopsis

In the fictionalized version of Yomigaeri (Return of the Dead), the story of the mysterious phenomena is told through several different character points of view, in the form of a drama that involves various individuals. In both the novel and the film, the plot focuses on a charismatic protagonist, while the stories of different characters unfold in parallel. However, the title Yomigaeri – Refrain constitutes a completely distinct version of Yomigaeri, which, while drawing inspiration from the world of the novel, focuses on the stories of people who have come back to life, who appear neither in the novel nor in the film. This is another side of Yomigaeri that no one knows about, that hasn't been explored in previous releases.
Through gameplay, which allows the player to act at their own discretion, the attractions of Yomigaeri are revealed in a new light.
